RAMESH'S STORY
My first camera was bought when I was in 7th standard. It was a Kodak KB10, a roll-loaded camera. From one roll, we could take only around 35 pictures, and after clicking them, we had to get them printed — no soft copies or previews back then.
I took my first 35 photos during my summer vacation at my hometown. After returning home, I would run straight to the studio to get them printed. Holding those photos in my hand made me so happy, and that happiness doubled when people appreciated my work. That’s how it all started.
Later in college, I bought a Canon 1300 camera without even telling my parents — though it was their money that I withdrew from the bank. I clicked many shoots with my school and college friends and even covered a few college events.Then COVID came. I thought it was a break for me, but actually, the real twist started there. My very close friend, Akila Lenin, called me for her baby shower shoot. From there, my event journey truly began. I also worked as an assistant photographer at SR Digital Studio, managed by Mr. Saran Raj. That’s where I learned how to handle events properly. Soon, I started getting back-to-back event bookings. So I bought another camera, the Canon 70D, and shot even more events.
In 2022, I bought a professional DSLR — the Canon RP. With that camera, I even handled big wedding orders. The output was top-notch, and I finally felt like a true professional photographer. Slowly, I started getting orders from everywhere — schools, colleges, my workplace, friends, and family.
I promised myself that every customer is equal to me. They trust me with their special moments, and it’s my responsibility to return them as lifelong memories. I hope I am doing that every day with my 100% effort.
